#3 Drawing with Foliage

Age: above 4 years

A simple and fun craft that encourages creativity and motor skills of children, and provide a contact with nature.

The materials needed are:
• Leaves of trees of different colors and shapes
• Pencils, pens or crayons
• Glue
• Sheet of paper

Now get to work! Go outside with your kids for a walk in the neighborhood and look for leaves in the shape and color of your choice, glue them to sheet of paper  and use a pencil, pen or crayon to  make the desired design.

The example below was done by me and it took less than 30 minutes, I used 3 types of leaves, and could have supplemented with shells and even sand if I lived on the coast:

The next example was found on a site:

I hope you liked it because surely your kids will love! Have fun!

See you soon!

xoxo
